Tonagena at NYC Tech Week (June 1–8, 2025)
The Tonagena spin-off participated in NYC Tech Week 2025. As part of Czech Startup Week New York at the Bohemian National Hall-under the auspices of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York and CzechInvest’s U.S. office-we presented TonaPulse®, our laboratory electroporation system, to invited venture-capital investors.
A two-day SOSA bootcamp focused on U.S. market entry preceded the event. The participation enabled Tonagena to introduce TonaPulse® to the international investor community for the first time and gather actionable feedback for the U.S. go-to-market.
Tonagena at ESGCT 2025: debut of the TonaPulse® system in Seville (7–10 October 2025)
At ESGCT 2025, Tonagena introduced the commercial TonaPulse® system for controlled electroporation on adherent cell cultures, together with a range of accessories now available. Our goal: boost international awareness and grow the user base. TonaPulse® is already used by leading Czech labs for both reversible and irreversible electroporation; results with the system have appeared in peer-reviewed journals and multiple conference contributions.

TonaPulse® tested at the Czech Metrology Institute
The TonaPulse® hardware for in-vitro electroporation on adherent cell cultures has successfully completed rigorous electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing at the Czech Metrology Institute (CMI). The tests followed the relevant harmonized standards for laboratory equipment (the IEC/EN 61010 series and related EMC requirements), confirming readiness for demanding lab environments.
The test campaign verified immunity to interference and low emissions across all operating modes. This is one of the final steps before issuing the EU Declaration of Conformity and launching TonaPulse® on the EU market.
